After taking the Centre Port run short shuttle bus service from the cruise terminal to the city, it's only a 10 -15 minute walk to the start of your tour which begins at the centrally located Queens Wharf on the Wellington Waterfront

Transport from the cruise ship to this attraction is not included in the ticket cost, you will need to make your own arrangements.

Here you will get a full instruction and a safety briefing before getting used to riding your electric bike in a large car-free space before setting out on the shared paths along the Wellington Waterfront with a knowledgeable and entertaining guide.

On the tour we will cruise past Oriental Bay where locals swim and sun-bathe in summer before heading around the bays using a cycle path on the road. As you head further from the city, the views become more spectacular and your guide will share stories and local insights!

We stop at a local cafe serving fantastic coffee (included in your tour) or if you're after a bite to eat, they also offer delicious New Zealand food (own cost) before heading back toward the city, using the power assist to wind your way through quiet residential streets to reach Maupuia Lookout. This is the best opportunity for stunning panoramic photographs of New Zealand's capital city and surrounding bays.

An electric bike is easy to ride - if you can ride a regular bike, you can ride an eBike. This small group tour is perfect for individuals, couples and families travelling with teenagers.

Please note this tour is rated as intermediate and requires some on-road riding.
